What are new patient exams?

Initial exams are required when you visit us for the first time, and last approximately one hour.

  1. We get acquainted! There’s paperwork to complete. We talk about the reason for your visit, and walk through your concerns and questions.
  2. Next with a comprehensive exam we identify immediate and long-term concerns: Checking for tooth decay, assessing the health of your gums, and performing an oral cancer screening. We may also take pictures inside your mouth with a small intraoral camera. A set of digital X-rays provides a more comprehensive view of teeth and supporting structures.
  3. Following your exam, we’ll use the intraoral photos and X-rays to illustrate findings. We’ll layout your options and work with you to find therapies that meet your needs, budget, and schedule.

Q: If I arrive on time for my appointment, will I be sitting in the waiting room for 20 minutes?
A: No. Your time is valuable and we pride ourselves on being prompt. So just plan on arriving 5-7 minutes before your scheduled appointment and let us know you’ve arrived!

What are my payment options?

We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Outside financing through Care Credit is also available for those who qualify. Don’t hesitate to call us for details!

Q: Do you allow patients to set up payment plans?
A: We can check on your insurance coverage and see what your portion will be. We ask for payment at time of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, ATM cards, Cash and personal checks. We also accept Care Credit.

Q: Do you offer a senior discount?
A: Yes. We gladly give all patients over 65 a 10% discount.

Q: Do you offer a cash discount?
A: Yes. If you pay in full on the date of service and do not have insurance, we will gladly give you a 5% discount.

Is my insurance accepted?

We'll electronically file your insurance claim for you and work with your insurance company to maximize benefits.

Q: Which insurance plans do you accept?
A: We accept most insurance plans, and finding out if yours is among them is simple—before scheduling your first visit, just call and ask us. We’ll be happy to assist you! Be sure to bring a current dental insurance card with you at the time of your first appointment. We do not currently accept Oregon Health Plan.

Q: Do you do dental implants?
A: Yes. We do dental implants utilizing fixed prosthesis and removable prosthesis.

Q: Do you do tooth colored fillings?
A: Yes, we do!
